Parker Middle School reading/language arts teachers, Susan Kalmakis, Kathleen Daly, and Jill Piantedosi, are reading Three Cups of Tea, with our grade 6 students.
In our Reading/Writing workshop, we are giving our students an opportunity to view how students live and learn in other cultures around the world. We want our students to learn that literature about real people can help them reflect on important issues and events. Good books can help children learn about things they may never come to experience.
